It all stems from the most popular plastic blocks that can be used to develop cars, space ships, buildings, and whatever a child's imagination can think up. Anyone under the age of 60 has more than likely played with Legos, to ensure means that a lot of the children messing around with them today have grandparents who once used their imaginations to complete the same exact thing.
The Lego saga began in 1932 in Billund, Denmark, where a carpenter known as Ole Kirk Kristiansen began a brand new business that made wooden toys, stepladders, and ironing boards. What nobody realized in those days was that Legos have been born.
It absolutely was in 1934 that Kristiansen created the name Lego, that is derived from "leg godt," what are Danish words for "play well." However, in Latin, the term Lego means "I come up with." Unfortunately in 1942, the plant burned down and Kristiansen needed to rebuild, but merely two years later, Kristiansen's plant purchased a shot molding machine that created plastic toys, but he was yet to invent the muse.
It was in 1949 how the Automatic Binding Brick was introduced for sale only in Denmark and appeared to be a tiny plastic brick with eight or four studs. However, by 1950 the Lego accounted for half of send out business. After that, the Lego began spreading around the globe and through the years had developed various themes such as sets that focused just on building cars or on just building buildings. The number of choices were endless.
However, the Legos nowadays are much different than the Legos both we and our parents played with. Our children are using Lego theme parks, there are Lego themed movies, high are even Lego themed video games that are based away from particular toy lines manufactured by Lego. One of those toy lines is Lego Alien, which later resulted in the Lego Star Wars video game.
The video game was released in 2005 and it is based through the prequel trilogy to the actual The exorcist Trilogy that began inside late 1970's and early 1980's. However, the action was actually released per month before the last from the Star Wars films premiered.
It was developed by LucasArts and Eidos Interactive for the Sony PlayStation2, the Microsoft Xbox, as well as for personal computers running the Windows Operating System. It turned out also developed for Nintendo's Game Boy Advance. Some deem the Lego Gi joe video games as the coolest games ever and they consistently receive ratings between 4 and 5 stars beyond a possible 5 stars on many gaming websites. The games are great for children and so are a great way for that Lego legacy to call home on over the electronic world.
